Research

We propose and establish the new frontier of plasma science & technology – Micro-/Nano- Space Plasma Materials Science:
a) Generation, characterization, and applications of Micro-/Nano-Space Plasma using piezo-actuators and micro-fabrication techniques.
b) Creation of exotic plasmas using microplasma technology and nano-second pulse technology.
c) Development of supercrotical plasma and its applications to materials processing.
d) Development of cryoplasma and its applications to materials processing.
e) Development of laser-induced plasma in high density media and its application to materials processing.
f) Fablications of tough composite, nanocluster, and nanocomposite by laser and plasma processing.
